MasterCard/Visa Merchant Program
Our credit card program offers three methods for sales authorization, transmittal and credit - all designed to fit your business needs. As your business grows you may choose a different system.  Touch Tone Capture: same as paper system but sales are transmitted by phone at time of sales; Electronic Draft Capture (EDC): authorization at terminal - sales batched and transmitted at end of day; PC Software: sales processed through Windows based software.

Commercial Account Analysis Program
The Commercial Account Analysis Program is designed for high activity commercial account customers. Commercial account customers may be placed on "account analysis" after contact from a bank representative. One feature of the Commercial Account Analysis Program involves the Earnings Credit. The Earnings Credit is based on a rate that is equal to the average Fed funds rate for the month, minus 1%. Fees on Service Charges, except for NSF charges, may be offset by the Earnings Credit.

Explanation of Earnings Credit Calculation:

Avg Monthly Ledger Bal - Float & Collected Funds = Avg Collected Bal - Reserve Requirements at 10.0% = Investable Balance
Investable Bal X Earnings Credit Rate / 365 X NO. of Days in the Month = Earnings Credit.

Certificates of Deposit
First Texas Bank offers competitive rates and terms on Certificates of Deposit. A Certificate of Deposit may be issued for $500 or more with a term extending from 91 days to 12 months. Deposits of $50.00 or more may be made to current Certificates of Deposit at any time. You may elect the automatic renewal option, adding safety and convenience to your decision to save. Interest accrues daily and may be paid by check, deposited to checking or savings account, or compounded.

With First Texas Cash Management, commercial customers are able to access comprehensive account information and have the ability to act on that information. Wire transfers, ACH origination, ACH file uploads, float reporting, balance reporting, credit line advances and payments, statement retrieval, and account activity reporting throughout the day are tools that will be available to business customers through First Texas Cash management.  It's like having a personal account officer, on a full-time basis, 24 hours a day!
